Behind the sketch.
The Windham–Woody House, built around 1831, is a small antebellum residence with Greek Revival-influenced woodwork. Its roofline was substantially changed later in the nineteenth century, so what we see today is partly an early Huntsville house and partly a Victorian-era makeover.
