Built in 1929, the Livingston House is a classic California bungalow with a long-gabled porch, a large centered dormer, and an attached porte cochere, an especially desirable feature when automobiles were becoming part of daily life. Its low, sheltering roofline gives the house the grounded, comfortable look that made bungalows so popular.
