Behind the sketch.
The Foyer–Goodson House dates to about 1928, when Five Points had become one of Huntsville's established close-in neighborhoods. Built just before the Great Depression, it belongs to the last confident burst of 1920s homebuilding, when porches, compact plans, and handcrafted details were still central to the American ideal of a comfortable house.
